The ‘Number 6 collection is all about Tsemaye’s vintage girl, who is a modern glamour girl ready to dominate the world” said Tsemaye.
The ready to wear collection of shift & evening dresses, long tops, jackets, skirts and trousers was filled with colours like Lilac, Pretty Pink, Teal Blue, Burgundy, Black and White. The pieces were made from sheer raw silk, satin and lace fabrics, with lots of hand made beaded embellishments.
It was also the first time the designer would launch a bridal line. The bridal collection had 4 different styles fashioned out of lace and silk displayed.
There was also a rack of ready to wear pieces for immediate purchase as well as ability to order pieces from the Number 6 collection. We were surrounded with beautiful paintings by I George and treated to lovely cupcakes by Hans and Rene with continuous flow of champagne courtesy of Moet & Chandon.
