Rivers State Saga: President Jonathan Orders Withdrawal Of JTF Soldiers, Armored Cars, From Rivers Governor's Lodge

As the scuff in the Rivers State House of Assembly continues,Sahara reporters have it the Pres. Jonathan has ordered the brigade commamder-in-charge of the Joint Task Force to withdraw about 30 soldiers armoured tanks stationed in front of the River State governors lodge.

Reports have it that with the withdrawal of these soldiers, things may get a little bloodier since the governor's security and his aids are at the mercy of the few Police men and the state security services.


According to Sahara Reporters, an eyewitness accounts that a new detachment of soldiers came briefly to inspect a third APC that seem disabled.

President Jonathan is currently on a state visit to China.
