A 3-storey building collapsed yesterday at Oloto street, Ebute Metta in Lagos in the early hours of yesterday killing about 12 people and many critically injured and still in the hospital.Its a disaster that many say is uncalled for.A couple, pregnant woman and a baby are feared dead among the victims of the collapsed building.About 7 people including two children were been rescued from the debris of the collapsed building.

Many of the residents of the environs were seen partaking in the rescue operations as the Red Cross and LASEMA and LASAMBUS monitors and put the rescue operation in order.
In another scene yesterday, a 101-year old building also gave way yeterday, collapsing on its inhabitant.The figure of dead or injured victim has not yet been ascertained.
